Blencathra 2020 with St Mary’s Hospice
We are delighted to announce that our night climb for 2020 will be to the breath-taking summit of Blencathra. This year we have two routes to the summit; the harder climb is via Halls Fell Ridge; with the moderate option of going via Doddick Fell. Both walks will come together on the summit giving you an opportunity for a celebratory glass of fizz and to take some time to enjoy the amazing views as the sun breaches the horizon. You will descend from the summit as a group, giving you a truly unforgettable experience of watching the sun rise as you walk.
“For the rest of my life I will never forget how liberated I felt watching the sunrise at that height…” (Participant of Helvellyn 2019)
The walk will start in the early hours of Sunday 14th June but expect to travel to the location in the evening of Saturday 13th June.
Blencathra via Halls Fell (Hard)
Blencathra via Doddick Fell (Moderate)
