Our 4 legged Festive friends, Mr and Mrs Clause and a whole load of festive adventure will be BACK in Cumbria this year, and this year, they are heading to Ford Park Ulverston!

HERD is back this year, but its moving house to the STUNNING  Ford Park and Gardens in Ulverston. There will be between 4 and 6 entry times a day on the 17th, 18th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd of December with VERY limited availability at each entry time.

All ticket links, information and other bits and pieces are below and further updates will follow in the next few days and weeks but we can’t wait to track down the HERD with you for a 2nd year.

Join us, in the stunning grounds of Ford Park, Ulverston for a little winter wander through the grounds as you help Gardner, Greta, track down a certain jolly chaps missing 4 legged friends.
Head to Ford Park this year to meet Gardner Greta as she tells you the tale of the beautiful Ford Park and the magical festive things that have been happening in the grounds. She will tell you a tale, or two, and then send you on your way as you follow a trail, meet magical festive characters, write the all important festive letter and track down our visiting 4 legged friends.

Festive characters will include Mr and Mrs Clause!

Your experience should last a minimum of 1 hour, it may take longer if you choose to explore the grounds, head to the amazing playground and take a visit to the cafe, or hot beverage cart during your visit. NOTE: The Cafe is not run by Ford Park or the HERD event time, it may not always be open when HERD is live, however there will always be somewhere on site that is serving warm drinks.

Toilets are available on site.

There is very limited parking on site, please only try to enter the site to park if you have access requirements. If you do not please park along the roads, or in near by car-parks. Ulverston is beautiful at Christmas time so do take a little wander in and enjoy the views if you can.

This is an Outdoor event, and, it is in Cumbria! We may have a little liquid sunshine, and potentially a little festive flurry of snow so come prepared! Wellies, rain coats, big jumpers, thermals all encouraged.

Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable, and can not be exchanged.

This event will go ahead in all weathers, unless the site team and event crew deem the event to be dangerous for reasons around weather, site damage or other safety issues. If the event is cancelled for reasons beyond our control we regret that we may not be able to refund ticket holders. We strive to do all we can to ensure events go ahead, but, safety is paramount.

HERD is priced at £11.50 per child, inclusive of a £1.50 donation to the park and £5.00 for adults inclusive of a £1.50 donation to the park. Babes in Arms are free.
