Rusland Show

Whitestock Meadow Rusland Valley, Ulverston, Cumbria

The Rusland Show is held on the third Saturday in August at Whitestock Meadow in the lovely Rusland Valley. The marquees are filled with exhibits of horticulture, home produce, handicrafts, photography and film. On the sports field there are fell races, track races plus many other events such as egg throwing and tug-of-war.

Candlelit Walk

The Gill The Gill, Ulverston, Cumbria

Ulverston is lit-up for the Candlelit Walk every Halloween. Held on The Gill, 600 candles light the night along with shadowscreens, fire dance and music. A magical way to celebrate Halloween.
