Ulverston’s Courtesy Toilet Scheme

Ulverston's Courtesy Toilets Scheme. Map and list of toilet opening times, and disabled access.

IMPORTANT. As a result of Covid-19, not all of the toilet facilities listed above are available.

There is only one public convenience in Ulverston, situated on The Gill. It’s normally open every day from 7am to 7pm, and has a 20 pence charge.

The businesses and organisations above have kindly agreed to support Ulverston’s Courtesy Toilet Scheme initiative. Most of the facilities are open during daytime hours, at the same times as when the businesses operate. The Red Rose Club, Royal British Legion, and The Mill all provide free facilities until late, but note that in the evenings, only the Red Rose Club has dedicated disabled facilities.

Ulverston Town Council runs a Sunflower Scheme for people with any hidden disability. Pop into the Coronation Hall to collect your badge or ribbon, and shopkeepers will know you need a little bit more help
