Ulverston is well known for its wide range of specialist shops and street festivals, featuring local produce and crafts.
You can find a directory of shops, restaurants and businesses via Choose Ulverston, the Ulverston Business Improvement District (BID) shopping website. Also learn about the projects being run by the BID to make the town centre more attractive and welcoming.
Here’s a Specialist Shops leaflet from 1997. How many do you recognise?
