Walking Pictures
Talk ‘Walking Pictures – how taking photographs on a walk can get you safely home!’
The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) have invited Neil McClaughlin Cook to give a talk at St. Mary’s RC Parish Centre, Victoria Road on Wed. 12th March. Neil is an experienced walker and guide in Ulverston (WalkFest and U3A Fellwalkers). He will show some fun ways of using a camera to help everyone on a walk have a good time. The talk will include lots of pictures of lovely countryside. Visitors are welcome, tea and biscuits provided, join us for what will be a really interesting afternoon.
The CWL holds regular meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at 2pm in the Parish Centre, opposite the kiosk. If you’re interested in being a member just come along and join us for a cup of tea. The annual programme includes a variety of invited speakers and musical groups where visitors are always welcome.
The calendar features community events in Ulverston and South Cumbria. Check the location details of each event, as you may need a car or other form of transport in order to get there.
