Roxy Open Day
We’re taking part in the National Heritage Open Days scheme this year, so on Saturday 13th September you’ll be able to come along and take a peek behind the scenes at The Roxy Cinema. We’ll be showing some vintage cartoons and newsreels. You’ll have the chance to visit the projection box to see how we show the films now, and how they were shown in the past using 35mm film.
The event is FREE. Pre-booking is not required. The cinema is situated upstairs, and there is no disabled access at the present time.
The calendar features community events in Ulverston and South Cumbria. Check the location details of each event, as you may need a car or other form of transport in order to get there.
