Dreamtime Fellrunner
Following our very successful Mountain Rescue Talk, we are now pleased to host “The Dreamtime Fellrunner”.
Julie Carter is a doctor, poet and celebrated fellrunner. These are her thoughts and reflections of what it is to be a female who runs on the fells.
This show has already been performed at The Theatre by the Lake, and it’s for anyone yearning for connection with the great outdoors, seeking to nourish both the body and mind.
Escape to the Lakeland fells in this fun, poetic, and moving exploration of the land around us and how we inhabit it. From the comfort of your seat, join Julie as she bounds through the awe-inspiring landscape of the hills, on a track carved through feminism, land rights, history, literature, and all sorts in between.
Tickets cost £15 (under 25’s £10) and can be purchased online from Highlights North.
As usual you will receive a very warm welcome to our hall, which is wheelchair accessible. Drinks will be available from our licenced bar.
The calendar features community events in Ulverston and South Cumbria. Check the location details of each event, as you may need a car or other form of transport in order to get there.
