Mozart Requiem
ULVERSTON CHORAL SOCIETY – MOZART REQUIEM
Ulverston Choral Society is performing an epic choral classic. Musical Director, Deborah Milledge, will lead the choir as we take on Mozart’s Requiem, one of the most famous and well known choral masses.
Hot on the heels of an “outstanding” score at the recent South Cumbrian Music Festival, the choir is busy rehearsing and fine tuning the Requiem Mass. In addition, we will be performing Mozart’s Solemn Vespers, which include the well known Laudate Dominum; you will know it when you hear it!
We will be accompanied by an ensemble made up of many Cumbrian musicians, led by Julian Cann. Soloists include local favourite Claire Eccles singing soprano, and David Pipe will be providing organ accompaniment.
Ulverston Choral Society look forward to seeing you for what is sure to be a special occasion. Tickets, including early bird, are available from ulverstonchoral.co.uk or on the door.
