State of Nature
Don’t miss out on this interesting exhibition about the state of nature!
The display is aimed at highlighting some of the issues currently faced in the environment. The quilt includes figures showing risks of extinction to animals in the UK, with the display highlighting in particular the plight of red squirrels, and what is being done locally to encourage population growth. The aim of the display is to help people understand the state of nature today, and to consider whether there is anything they can do to help.Â
The calendar features community events in Ulverston and South Cumbria. Check the location details of each event, as you may need a car or other form of transport in order to get there.
