Verdi Requiem
Cumbria Festival Chorus, with orchestra led by Pam Redman, presents Verdi’s great Requiem. With soloists Faye Bowness (soprano), Joyce Tindsley (contralto), Jacob Clark (tenor), and Paul im Thurn (bass). Conducted by Ian Jones.
The performance takes place in Kendal Parish Church, and so wouldn’t normally be in scope for Ulverston News. However, this is a huge concert, with a chorus of around 100, a full orchestra, four professional soloists, and a well-known conductor. Many members of Cumbria Festival Chorus are from Ulverston, and they’d love to have a contingent from Ulverston go along to support them and experience this amazing event.
Book online via the link below, or purchase tickets from choir members or on the door.
