Are you interested in learning some simple ways you can encourage greater well-being in your day-to-day life? I am going to be running some experiential self-care workshops in Ulverston, at the beautiful Swarthmoor Hall.

I run a busy counselling and psychotherapeutic practice in Ulverston and have many years’ experience of working in mental and emotional well-being. I enjoy supporting others in finding ways to be kinder and more caring to themselves. My workshops have come from the desire to, in my own way, widen the net and create more opportunities for promoting self-care.

Swarthmoor Hall and Gardens is known to offer a peaceful and tranquil setting, and therefore is ideal for learning in a relaxed, informal and friendly way… a place where you’ll be able to try out the simple, effective practices I share with you. Feedback I’ve collected over many years is that the self-care practices have created a greater feeling of calm and ease.

I will share well-researched practices that you can take away and use to support you in meaningful self-care. We will use some of these practices; Compassionate Breathing, Emotional Freedom Technique, Self-Massage, Mindful Walking, Body Scan.

No prior knowledge or experience is needed, just come along and try for yourself. Group size will be set at 8. To book a place, or ask any questions, please contact me.
